Two White Wires Light Fixture. As posted elsewhere if it s 2 whites then you need to determine which is hot and which is neutral then put a piece of black tape on the hot one for future reference. Connect the two black wires from the light fixture to the black wire from the electrical box the same way you connected the white wires.
Connect the two white wires from the light fixture to the white wire located in the electrical box by twisting an orange wire nut onto all three wires.
Then connect the white wire from the switch to both black wires of the lamp. That s the only purpose the ground wire serves. You should find which one is hot when the switch is on mark it black with electrical taps and connect that one to the black wire of the fixture. You likely have a switch loop. Use chain pliers or pliers with a screwdriver to open the link on the end of the chain.
